Ukraine harvests over 41 million tons of grain

KYIV, November 12 /UKRINFORM/. Ukraine as of November 11 harvested 41.07 million tons of grain from an area of 14.5 million hectares, or 99% of the target. An average yield of grain and leguminous crops is 28.3 quintals per hectare.
As of November 11, farmers harvested 11.63 million tonnes of corn from 2.54 million hectares (95% of the forecast), with an average yield being 45.6 quintals per hectare.
The gross harvest of rice totalled 164,100 tons. It was harvested from 99.7% of the area (29,300 hectares).
Farmers also harvested 7.1 million tons of sunflower seeds from 4.42 million hectares (99.5% of the forecast), with an average yield being 16 quintals per hectare.
