Transport co: Russia's grain exports down 8% on yr in Jul-Oct

MOSCOW, Nov 2 (PRIME-TASS) -- Russian grain exports fell 8% on the year to 8 million tonnes in July-October, Russia's Rusagrotrans, which specializes in the shipment of grain by rail, said Monday.
The company's analytical service, however, expects grain exports to rise 25% on the year to 2.1 million tonnes in November.
Russia's grain exports are expected to reach up to 20 million tonnes this agricultural season, compared to 23 million tonnes in the agricultural season of 2008-2009, Arkady Zlochevsky, president of the Russian Grain Union, said in October.
