Russian co to launch 7 bln rbl Rostov Reg grain processing plant

Russian agricultural company Don Biotechnologies plans to launch a 6.75 billion ruble grain processing plant to produce amino acids at the end of 2014 in the Rostov Region city of Volgodonsk, a spokesperson for the company said Monday, as cited by RIA Novosti.
Don Biotechnologies, previously known as Rusbiotekh, is a joint venture of Germany's industrial group Evonik Industries and Russian Agroindustrial Trust (RAPT).
The plant's capacity is to amount to 250,000 tonnes of grain per year and could be increased to 500,000 tonnes.
The project is being implemented with the support of the regional government.
