Russia produced 63.4 mln tonnes of grains

According to official data of the federal subjects of the Russian Federation, as of November 3, 2010, Russia harvested grains and leguminous plants throughout the areas of 33.3 mln ha, or 97.9% of the forecast, taking into account the losses of grain sowings due to the droughts. The general grain production volumes totaled 63.4 mln tonnes. The average yield totaled 19 c/ha, the harvesting campaign continues, announced the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. Particularly, the Central Federal District produced over 10.2 mln tonnes of grains. The average yield totaled 18.8 c/ha. The North-Western Federal District harvested 477 thsd tonnes of grains. The average yield totaled 22.2 c/ha. Agrarians of the Southern Federal District harvested 19.4 mln tonnes of grains. The average yield totaled 30.8 c/ha. The North Caucasian Federal District produced 8.5 mln tonnes of grains. The average yield totaled 32.6 c/ha.
The Volga Federal District produced 6.8 mln tonnes of grains. The average yield totaled 10.2 c/ha. The Urals Federal District produced nearly 3.5 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 13.5 c/ha. The Siberian Federal District harvested 14.2 mln tonnes of grains. The average yield totaled 15.4 c/ha. Agrarians of the Far Eastern Federal District produced 279 thsd tonnes of grains. The average yield totaled 13.1 c/ha. The country produced 43.2 mln tonnes of wheat. The average yield totaled 19.9 c/ha as opposed to 24.3 c/ha in 2009. Russia produced 8.8 mln tonnes of barley. The average yield totaled 17.8 c/ha as opposed to 24.5 c/ha in 2009. Russian agrarians harvested 128 thsd tonnes of millet throughout the areas of 184 thsd ha (100% of the forecast). The average yield totaled 6.9 c/ha as opposed to 9.7 c/ha in 2009. Russian agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout the areas of 563 thsd ha (89% from the forecast), and produced 371 thsd tonnes of the grain. The average yield totaled 6.6 c/ha against 9.9 c/ha in 2009. Agrarians harvested rice throughout the areas of 195 thsd ha (96.7% from the forecast), and produced 1140.4 thsd tonnes of the grain, with the average yield of 58.4 c/ha (in 2009 - 57.8 c/ha). Agrarians harvested maize grain throughout the areas of 962 thsd ha (83% from the forecast), and produced over 2.7 mln tonnes of maize. The remaining harvesting areas totaled 197.7 thsd ha. The average yield totaled 28.4 c/ha as opposed to 35.2 c/ha in 2009. Agricultural enterprises of Russia harvested sunflower seed throughout 5 mln ha (77% from the forecast), and produced 4.7 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 9.4 c/ha (in 2009 - 11.8 c/ha). The Russian Federation harvested 623 thsd tonnes of winter and spring rapeseed throughout the areas of 554 thsd ha. The average yield of the oilseed totaled 11.2 c/ha (in 2009 - 9.7 c/ha). Agrarians harvested soybean throughout the areas of 1 mln ha (87% from the forecast), and produced 1.2 mln tonnes of the oilseed. The average yield totaled 11.9 c/ha (in 2009 - 12.7 c/ha). As of November 3, Russian agrarians sowed winter crops throughout 14.6 mln ha.
