Russia harvested almost 100 MMT of grain

As of October 02, farmers harvested 96.3 MMT of grain from 39.9 Ml ha. The average yield was 2.41 MT/ha.
By the same date last year, grain had been harvested from 36.08 Ml ha, 93.02 MMT had been obtained with average yield of 2.58 MT/ha.
The pace of harvesting is ahead of the last year's schedule. Higher pace as compared to last year is noted in Central District, in the Urals and Siberia. In South and North Caucasus Federal Districts the pace of harvesting is at level of last season. A delay of harvesting is observed in Volga Federal District (-920 Th ha).
