Kazakhstan to gather 22-23 million tons of grain in net weight - Agriculture Minister

Astana. October 10. Interfax-Kazakhstan - This year Kazakhstan will reap 22-23 million tons of grain in net weight, the Minister of Agriculture Asylzhan Mamytbekov said.
"The size of the grain harvest is forecast at 22-23 million tons in net weight. According to the regional akim's offices, the current harvest has already exceeded 24 million tons," Mamytbekov said, speaking in the parliament in Astana on Monday.
As reported, in 2010 the net weight of Kazakhstan's grain harvest made 12.2 million tons.
This year the Ministry of Agriculture predicts a record harvest of over 25 million tons in bunker weight.
